Integrating with the factory layout
EVR office is an office situated within the EVR factory and is designed to facilitate a seamless connection to the factory’s operational areas.
The challenge posed to the Common Praxis team revolved around creating a functional and aesthetically pleasing office environment within the pre-existing industrial setting of the EVR Factory. The design had to accommodate various office functions, including a reception area, testing rooms, CEO's office, and common workspaces, while ensuring a seamless connection to the factory's operation areas.
EVR office is focused around three considerations: A blend of formal and informal spaces, flexibility and efficiency and lastly, the spatial quality.
Integrating breakout spaces for collaboration and teamwork highlights the human centric approach of the design.
Elements like strategic lighting and modular furniture and bespoke furnishings to enhance the functional ambition and refine the project's aesthetic.
Material finishes like wood, transteel furniture and other interior design elements like color palette enhances the ambiance of the space.
Designing a layout that integrates well with the factory layout was important to the client. Common Praxis designed flexible and functional layouts through an assembly of a metal platform
Functional Design Meets Safety: A near-final assembly of the metal platform
The assembly features 12mm thick checkered plywood as the floor board and staircase. This maximizes the space utilization and contributes to the spatial efficiency of the project.
Industrial Form, Modern Functionality.
The open work area is designed to foster a collaborative environment within the EVR Office. The architectural designer's layout promotes interaction while ensuring individual space, integrating elements like strategic lighting and modular furniture for flexibility and efficiency.
Building on spatial quality, Common Praxis provided additional value by using color palette as a tool for spatial transformation.
